Greenville Nursing Care

We have both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) available for services requiring skilled nursing care.

An LPN is a nurse educated in the practical aspects of hands on nursing and who can perform duties which are designated by the State of South Carolina as those duties requiring a practical nursing license. An LPN may also assist with Activities of Daily living and light housekeeping duties reflective of patient care as needed.

An RN is a nurse who may be in charge of more complex issues, such as assessments, complex medical management, invasive monitoring, infusions and medications and all other aspects of nursing duties that may be authorized by the SC state licensure board. RNs may also assist with Activities of Daily living and light housekeeping reflective of patient care as needed. Nightingale RNs can also provide Nursing Supervision that can oversee and assist in developing care plans in conjunction with our clients’ multidisciplinary medical team, such as their physician, themselves, their family, and caregivers.

LPNs are usually needed to care for the adult population with complex issues that require the care of a skilled licensed nurse. RNs are more often needed for the under-21 population with complex medical issues that require additional assessment skills. Care of infants and young children require additional training and experience that includes at least one year of having worked in a setting where children were being cared for.

Our Private Duty Nurses, whether LPN or RN according to your needs, are available to care for clients 8 or more hours a day. Staying home is the most preferred choice for many clients requiring skilled services, so there is no need for our precious clients to enter a nursing home.
